I went to the RTA website on licence times and spaces for bookings- you pretty much can do it anytime you like. Not like booking for the red-P test.

What's vista like?jasee said:I bought a copy of Vista today. I wasn't going to but I decided to anyways lol after I realised it wasn't like $400 or whatever for the normal versions.
would there be any way to disable it ?, because if thats the case with Trusted Comptuing; I don't think I want to get Vista.Spider786 said:.it also introduces Trusted computing, which basically is vista determining what you can and cannot do/access.

wouldnt that be illegal in a way because a 'third party' is practically controlling your computer (as you have no say in what it blocks or dosent block) without you agreeing to it doing so?; cause if you think about it, say a hacker gets control of ur computer, you would have no control over you computer and probably wouldnt be able to access what you want too..and that is known to be illegal; so when Trusted Computing stops you from accessing stuff without you having any control over it doing so; isnt it in a way similar to what a hacker does?Spider786 said:nup, the company behind the technology refuses to put in a owner override feature (giving the owner some form of control over their computer), because they say its a security/piracy risk.
