General UTS chit-chat (1 Viewer)

Ever since MyStudentAdmin was released about 3-4 years ago, the results have come out at 12 mignight on whatever date it is scheduled to come out on. It hasn't been out earlier and hasn't been out later (although the system has crashed). Previous to this, there was an older system where the results were scheduled to be released at 5pm (which is even worse because you have to wait longer!), and in that system the results were sometimes released a bit earlier.

fridays gonna be a killer

did anyone hear that some exams got stolen from the mathematical science department...fuck thats freaky but lucky it doesnt have anything to do with me

Yep. Some of my friends last semester logged in a couple days before the semester and grabbed some good allocation times.

I'm gonna rage.

FIRSTLY does UTS notify students when they open mysubjects.uts.edu.au so that we can re do our timetable? FUCKIN, i just logged on and they have all SHIT times left. 6pm

SECONDLY why the FU** is all the cllasses always full? maybe make the classes a bit bigger or run multiple classes at the same time. who knows tha feeling when you sign in hoping theres a few clases open so you can move around but NO there are 3 slots saying pick me and they are all at night.

I want to STAB someone.

So what happens it just resets a few days before semester begins? -> few days before the 30th?

And theres heapps of space i HOPE? lol

Jem what chem/medsci2/phiscal aspects pracs u in?? lol, im in 7, 1 and 5

Unfortunately UTS does not notify students when they can allocate their times for a particular subject. It is just luck that you can grab good allocations.

BTW- Most of the second years+ would have had the opportunity to allocate their timetables in the beginning of the year (or even last year?) I know I did.. and I've got good times. Just going to check a couple days before the semester to see if mysubjects reset anything though..
