indeed, roman was not the best tutor. when anna substituted for him a few times, it was much much better. i also didn't see the use in a timeline, the questions were essentially structured as one regardless.

Yeah, Anna was great this semester. I understood alot of what she said and her explanations of the entries were very good.
Unfortunately I agree with ifsonotso, didn't really take alot out of the subject in terms of usefulness in a future accounting career.

I'm glad to be finished this semester for sure - it was a pretty accounting heavy one (ABC, CMS & ASR).

Would someone be able to post the MDC subject guide here please?

Only about three weeks until our marks come back :/

No worries =) Now that I'm on holidays I can start cleaning up things.

The rollcall thread is next.. I'm considering making it a yearly thing because I see alot of members on there who are very inactive.

The results feel like they're coming out really early for me cause I only just had my last exam today. Another 3 weeks will fly by most likely. Hmm.. I'm not sure I wanna see my marks though XD

haha you didn't happen to have roman as a tutor by any chance - he was over the top about the 'gift' marks that the associates/worksheet/jv questions give.

but to be honest they really were just give away marks. it actually is a subject that wouldn't be too hard to get 100% or pretty darn close to it in the final (note for all the kiddies who are still to complete the subjet - do your homework for abc, they aren't lying when they say it makes a difference).

Would have to agree with that. I did my homework for ABC and went to all the tutorials and I ended up with a HD, which was my only one for my Business degree! I admit though the exam wasn't that hard and some rote learning would get you decent marks. I didn't go to many lectures though coz Roman was a crap lecturer.

Yeah, I think that's a good idea (re: rollcall) ... and the "Getting to Know You" one is almost a duplicate because the people who are active will fill it out.

How have your holidays been, anyway? Have you gone out and had belated birthday celebrations yet?

Yeah I don't like the "Getting to Know You" thread at all.. might get rid of it.
I'll start a new rollcall during the 2009 intake and then make it a yearly thing.

Holidays have been great.. I'm going out for celebrations tomorrow night =)
Back to work on Monday though =o

So I checked UTSonline today and one of my subjects has already disappeared. What does this usually mean? Because I was pretty sure I had a good chance of failing this subject and by the way this is also the subject which we have not gotten our marks back yet from mid semester!
