I just want to see it for John Leguizamo. I hope he doesn't die in the first 10 minutes... Have to wait till after trials to see it.

????

Having a few drinks by yourself at home eh icecream? :p

Looking forward to Land of the Dead, should be good fun. Should be difficult to find someone interested in seeing it with me too though, my friends aren't big fans of zombie movies.

I thought this was good, but not great.

It simply wasn't scary enough. Romero's past work was scarier, as was the trailer. I expected a horror, but was given an action film. If my expectations had been different, I may have enjoyed it more. Having said that, there was some great action/gore all round!

Simon Baker was pretty average, but John Leguizamo made up for his shortcomings.

i enjoyed it

SPOILERS
especially the midget shot in the head
and best part:
dude gets his hand with the grenade cut off; lands on the grenade and gets blown apart :p

i thought the satirical elements were pretty sloppy
i haven't seen dawn of the dead original, and i've heard it's a good satire; i was expecting more

only seen night of the living dead original before this; so i'll prolly checkout dawn and day now

good film. i had moderate expectations that were slightly exceeded, and only a few things bugged me (the lack of context/background made the first 15 minutes or so really uninteresting, and even though there was lots of gore there weren't any standout, imaginative gory scenes). still, i was satisfied.

best zombie: the one with it's head hanging by the flesh on its neck, so it can swing it forward to bite someone.

funniest part: dennis hopper saying to that guy "what's that over there... get down!" before he shoots him.

prediction: this will be the first and last horror film that simon baker stars in.

OH. HELL. YES. Wet myself, so good.

Overall, not too happy with the movie though. It's not my favourite genre, but i still love it, but this one just didn't get me. Oh well, at least it wasn't agonising to watch!!

Agreed. This film sucked. Dawn of the Dead (2004) was way better. I haven't seen the old one.

This one wasn't even plausible, and went nowhere fast. And the other one had heavy metal songs performed in other styles. Way cool.
