hi guys,

I am doing german beginners for prelims starting 2020, however, i would like to ask if i pick up a german tutor to do extra german study and do very well in year 11 for german beginners, will I beable to pick up german continuers for year 12? This would help alot because i really love learning languages and I would like this subject ( my most enjoyable subject) to be a high scalling subject for my hsc.

Hi mate, I'm not sure whether you'd be able to do that because as far as I know, German Continuers and all language continuers courses have an eligibility requirement that you must have studied the language in Year 9 or Year 10 for at least 100 hours. So unless you've done that, you might run into some trouble with NESA. Sorry man
