I'm wondering what drinks you girls drink when you go out to parties and such.

I'm getting so sick of cruisers & double blacks, and am wanting to know what other good girly type drinks there are..

Can you also provide a rough price (bloody alcopop taxes!!)

Screw premixed drinks (wtf is with the name 'alcopops' anyhow... stupid).

Take your own spirits. Mix with your fav juice, softdrink, whatever.

I usually drink Vodka & Orange
Although Vodka and raspberry is nice
And so is lemonade and Raspberry Vodka (NEVER buy citrus Vodka; bad bad after-formal party choice)
Or (if you can be f'd) you can make your own fruit tingles. They're reasonably easy to make. All you need is a shot of vodka, a shot of blue curico, a shot of raspberry cordial and fill the cup up with lemonade. Tastes amazing, but you probably shouldn't attempt to make these if you've had a few!

In terms of prices, a bottle of Vodka is about $30-$40
Blue Curico - (cheap one will do) $12

I can't drink pre-mixed drinks, they make me sick :s

When I'm out in pubs and stuff

Vodka and orange
Vodka Sunrise (Orange juice and grenadine)
Vodka lemon lime and bitters
Vodka and raspberry

At house parties
- Similar things as above
- Vodka mineral water and some of the VOK Peach Belini mix

I find cruisers etc wayyyy to sweet and they are were expensive when out even before the tax

One premix i dont mind is archers spri but you can rarely find them these days

vodka cranberry is definitely my darling. i really don't like very sweet things or fizzy things - esp because i drink in large amounts and anything too sickly or aerated is not feasible to binge on.
