we had one all ready for us when we left the church...but the fucking music teacher decided it was easier for someone to play a hymn on the organ...bloody pissed off we were!

Yeah, I have a feeling I'll share your pain this year. The music teacher/choir conductor had the "specially selected" choir sing the Year 12 song they wrote themselves last year at the graduation mass, against their wishes. Sounded terrible, cos all you could hear were the choir skanks and not the graduating class.
I'm already organising a protest if he tries it with us this year. He helped write the song, and some of the lyrics would lead in to their "accompaniment" too well.

This guy in my year really wants it to be "Knowing Me, Knowing You" by ABBA. I really hope he was joking when he suggested it. :rofl:

I'd prefer "Waiting" by Green Day. It's as though it was made to be a graduation song! :)

Have you guys considered "Fire Water Burn" by Bloodhoundgang? Lol, I burnt two full sports bags of HSC notes with that stuck in my head. Orsum.
