Data usage is quite reasonable lah. It's like any pc gaming, really. Very smooth experience, too, as it's peer to peer, and not server based.

the little things in this game are the best.
i was fighting some guy cos he had a stupid moustache, and he was nearly dead. He started clutching at his gut and staggering forward, trying to get away. I ran after him, but decided 'fuck it - i'm not going to bother killing him'. So, i start walking away, and a car comes out of nowhere and smashes into him, killing him.
After this, it started raining and someone takes out an umbrella, whilst some girl runs for a little covering trying to stay dry. Fucking awesome detail

It's pretty fun so far - does HD improve the graphics substantially? Because i'm finding the graphics a little crappy on standard mode (at least for what I was expecting).
So, does anyone know what they changed in the Australian version? (wish one of the changed were that you drive on the left!). Haven't found anything about what they censored yet..

One difference in the uncensored version; when you pick up a hooker you can see actions and pan around the car with the camera. In your censored version the camera is fixed to the back of the car when they do anything.Cyan_phoeniX said:
Well, as nolan said, SD is 4 times worse (in terms of picture quality). I find that GTA doesn't look fantastic even in HD, though. It probably does look much better, though than SD, but I'd still rate graphics at 7.5/10 (gets a bonus point for how massive the world is).Cyan_phoeniX said:

Little things I've noticed in GTA IV
* When you knock a fire hydrant over, and then drive a car on it, it actually pushes your car up. Also, if you walk into the stream of water, you'll get knocked over.
* If you're driving fast enough and hit a wall, you'll fly out of your windscreen.
* When you kill someone while they're in their car, they'll sometimes slump forward onto the wheel, and the horn will sound.
* Sometimes when you point your gun at a person driving in their car, they'll attempt to drive away quickly. If they hit an obstacle they'll usually knock themselves out.
* I don't know how I did it exactly, but I was standing on the boot of a taxi, and when it drove away, Niko fell over and grabbed onto the rear bumper and was dragged along for a while.
* If your door to your car is open, you can take out pedestrians by driving past and hoping the door hits them, at which point the door will slam shut.
* I shot a guy with a pistol while he was driving. In addition to slumping on the steering wheel and pushing the horn, the car just accelerated off, due to his fot being stuck on the accelerator.
* If you flip a car, the wheels get pushed upwards by the suspension.
* I was in a car with the GPS voice, when all of a sudden, instead of the normal "bing bong" sound that precedes a new direction, the English lady actually says "bing bong". I did a double take, then laughed.
* After hearing something on the radio about www.littlelacysurprisepageant.com, I visited it, only to be confronted by a message saying something like "Your IP Address Has Been Logged", and then I got a 5 star wanted level and the police raided the tw@ net cafe I was at.

hahahahahhaha yeah i did this to 2 ambulance drivers who were speeding to save a life. i started randomly ramming into the ambulance and then rammed them straight into a telegraph pole. they died in the car accident and were slumped forward while the drivers head was on the horn.

I just found a shotgun (prob from the police car) so came up to some guy and pointed it at him. He gets freaked out and drops his coffee cup, but stands in one place. So, I give him head (with my shotgun bullet). He dies, I collect his money. So I start walking to my car, and he groans and gets up clutching at his stomach trying to get away. Then he just falls and dies (again). Some bystander sees that, also gets freaked, and runs. However, he trips over the dead guy, falls to the ground, and I proceed to beat him off

oh and it should also be said how awesome the attention to detail is. i'm russian, so understand what all the posters mean. it's ridiculous how they're perfectly written, and how even people having conversations in the street in russian are voiced by real russian actors.
