Maybe because Levies are very fitted? I probably stand corrected, considering I rarely buy expensive clothing.

Could someone explain to me all the different types of jeans, cuts etc. cuz I always have trouble finding one that fits me. In terms of waist I go for 34 which fits fine, but many seem to stay a bit tight around the thighs (since I workout and have thicker thighs and calves). I'm not looking for gangsta style jeans, but just something more loose.

Go for "Loose fit", "Slim Fit" or "Straight Cut", in that order, then.

Stray away from "bootleg" and "slouch"- they are not good for your situation, it seems.

yep, loose fit would do fine. personally, i always go for bootcut.

aye aye, firstly i'm not asian. secondly, my bootcut jeans don't cover my entire shoe.

well not asian as in the chinese/viet/honkie/etc.
