i recommend the yellow pantene. works wonders.
and perhaps get a haircut so your hair falls nicer so you don't need to style it as much.

some people's hair is just shit with shampooing. not a lot you can do except i guess, use a good conditioner, don't use too much shampoo or leave it in for too long, dont rub your hair dry or blow dry it, just let it dry naturally, maybe use some anti-frizz/smoothing stuff in it while it's still damp.

blowdrying/straightening should work...but just go and ask your hairdresser and they can tell you what's best for your hair

Avoid shampoos with Ammonium Laureth Sulfate and Ammonim Lauryl Sulphate and try a shampoo with Sodium Laureth Sulphate instead. They're all shit for your hair in the end, but Sodium Laureth Sulphate is a little milder, so it won't dry out your hair so much, which I assume is what is making it feel fluffy... Also, I generally use a straightening balm in my hair before I blowdry it. It doesn't actually straighten it, it just protects it from the heat of the blowdryer/ straghtener and gives it a little more body/ texture.

My hair is brown and curly...it's really long so if it goes fluffy after showering, DAMN it's annoying. What I do is put conditioner (Tresseme if possible) and COMB til my wrist hurts -- while my hair is still wet. That should help the fluffy problem. =)

If she wanted to use a straightener she wouldn't have started the thread. She knows what a straightener is.

hey do you wash it in the morning or at night?
cos if i wash my hair at night and sleep on it, it doesnt go puffy, any other time it will.
