Why is everyone on here so smart? LOL.

I only have two subjects in top 10. We got our reports last term.

Maths - 22/100 (top 20 would be good)
Business Studies - 2/26
Economics - 9/17 (hoping to get back into top 5)
Physics - 25/44 (came 12th in the half yearly - went from 33% in assessment to 62% in half yearly)
Maths extension - 40 something out of 60 (probably won't be top 10 units)

Don't ask me about English.

Thanks! :D

and got Modern and ext back today:

Ext 23/25 rank 1/23

and Modern 61/65 rank unknown.
Now you're just making shit up :p

What school do you attend? We have 2-3 students that maintain top 3 rankings for all their subjects, we call them freaks.

Course you're not one though :santa:

Somehow I managed to do that last year. Sadly I don't think it'll happen again! :\

Cherrybrook. Usually competitive, but apparently our year is the worst cohort (academically and otherwise) in the school's history. And the other reason I suspect I'm able to maintain good ranks is that most of the really smart people are doing different subjects to me.

my marks so far have been pretty mediocre. i'm pissed off about english because the guy that came second in the exam never does anything in english... it just doesn't seem fair... i tried so hard and he still beats me :(

to be honest

and as further consolation, the average mark for my year in business studies for the extended response was 4/20... lol. the highest was 13/20, but they haven't given us marks back yet...

well, as far as i'm concerned that's a sign that it was a pretty hard test... but i dunno, maybe review the concepts and stuff. practice under exam conditions, so you get used to it, there's plenty of time to improve
