Just got Biology and Ancient History back and they made me fairly happy. I got 86% in Anc. which is only 1% lower than my other 2 assessments so that's fine and I got 2nd. Usually in Biology I go pretty crappy in comparison to the others and get mid-seventies but this time I got 85% which I'm very happy with. It also helped that that same day we got our Bio assessment back from last term and I got 98% (Yay!!!!!) Glad you guys went well - good luck for the rest of the year.

Still, religion was definately the best! Yay - me loves my easy marks:)

oooh a bit of competition... thats OK, im up for it. Besides, SOR isn't so much catholic, I don't think. Traditional catholic views don't always prove advantageous in SOR, I don't think so, anyway, I think you need to have more of an open view. But meh, I really don't think I will top the state anyway, I get the impression my SOR teacher is a really, REALLY easy marker lol, but we will see. I might get another SOR teacher to double mark my next task, just to see whether I'm really as good as my teacher makes out. But I'm definatley aiming for a band 6, either way. Your friend sounds smart. :)

haha..
hmm..
well apart from my making up biblical quotes..
i got full marksin all the writing sections, but lost 2 marks on the aboriginal multiple choice..
so in total 48/50...

it wasa shame because the way the distributions of weightings is.. only the multiple choice and short answer counts.. which i got 13/15...

meh~!
trials!..
and you're right..
there isnt much of a catholic stance.
as a grade we're so used to doing catholic studies, so we were all told off because some students said as a response to the christians view on bioethics...
'ITS A SIN. PEOPLE WILL GO TO HELL'
and other such things such as [the old sucking up trick..]
'and we, as good christians, believe that the tradition of marriage is significant for..'
blah blah!

too funny ^^
[p.s i wont come first in state eihter ]

Hey Nicole,

How did your school manage to write up an exam? The SOR syllabus has totaly been revamped and I think that they have changed exam structure as well.

Keen to hear your thoughts.

I don't see any real reason why you can't get 99.95+ :uhhuh:

Aside from the fact that I need to tighten up my Adv English, MX1&2 ranks. I shall hope for the best now that I've shed my last back-up unit.

And I bear no doubt that you will get a similar, if not greater, UAI. I'm rather glad we're not competing for the same course.

Oh, you'll be fine, I'm pretty sure you're going to get those 1sts quite soon :uhhuh:

I'm glad we're not competing for the same course, but even so I'm not going to get near the 99.95+ range.

Hey - great result. I do SoRI as well but got 46/50, which is still cool. I was pissed though cos it wasn't an assessment which means now I'll still have to work for my other mark (and its an at home one which I suck at). I go to a Christian school and some people have to be told so many times to stop preaching - it really does them no favours. Me, I'm happy cos it lessens the amount of stuff I have to memorise - bible verses are stuck in my head permanantly. Good luck with the rest of the year

On the brighter side, the same sight fills me with motivation. Try that.

Thank you, I do appreciate the support. The fair number of people above who are ranked 1st in every subject they do are truly AMAZING. I still have some way to go.
