You're not screwed - you can still do summaries at 4am the night before and go adequately!

East Hills Boys High

20 multiple choice
6 short answers (30 marks)
2 extended responses (2 x 25 amrks)

total out of 100

done it in week 6

Problem is....

the extended response asked for things such as sentencing and effectiveness which havent reached yet in the syllabus, teacher just gave us some chapter summary sheets ahead and ask us to read i without her elaborating about it.......I did pretty bad..

In the half yearly test look at the previous HSC legal tests, it will ask u to do something like

- identify elemetns of crim
-identify offences
-defences
-circumstances and sentences
-effectiveness of legal system

Other than that the short answers and multiple choice should be easy,

Had mine today, an hour after English... was pretty good, 30 multiple choice, 2 short answer parts (20 marks), and an extended response for Crime (25), 2 hours all up... I'm thinking that there was some mean trick to the Crime section though, it seemed far too simplistic... it gave a scenario and was like:
a. identify possible crimes that have occurred
b. identify possible charges
c. discuss possible defences
d. discuss possible punishments...
So I just churned out everything I knew and evaluated when I could... is there a catch somewhere?
