Ummm no it isnt. Usually in HSC questions they put in questions that arent your standard textbook question. Even in 2013 3u paper we got some shit about particles colliding which may have seemed hard to some lower band students

Yeah I stuffed up that question because the equation given in general form made me approach the question in the wrong way.

Projectile motion usually can have many different questions and is quite a vast area. For example, look at Terry Lee's exercise 7:1 (4-unit texbook).

Binomial is much more generic than motion imo.
