Die hard Potter fans

Anyone out there who loves H.P?

I cop so much from my friends because of it.

EDIT (jhakka): I have merged this thread with a couple of newer Harry Potter threads so the HP discussion can be more centralised. Need to keep the forum less cluttered.

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! The books more than the films. My favourite character is Dumbdledore and in Book 5, Harry was such a prat.

How do you do that?
I'm new to these parts and it's kinda confusing.

use the search option :)
in the keywords section, type in "harry potter"
and in the "search in forum(s)" area, select "the reading room"
and this should come up: http://www.boredofstudies.org/community/search.php?searchid=477690

It's pretty shitty. It only gets better after that though.

I've slowly got over Harry Potter as the years have passed. I had read all of the first 3 books at least 10 times in about the space of two years and got excited whenever a new one was close to release, but with number 6 on its way, I find my level of excitement has severely dropped and I dont really care about the series anymore. Until the book comes out that is and my interest will be renewed

I missed out on all the hype and craze. I had to read the first one for an English course I did last year and I didnt like it much.

i got into HP around the time book 4 was released, so that was way before the films. for a while i was obsessed but now i dont like it as much as i did. not really that excited about the release of book 6, though i'm still interested in completing the series. they are great books though, but at times i feel like i've outgrown HP.
