Hah. Probably the lamest (and most true) thing I've heard all week.

Being good at English, I only find reading law very hard. I know people like you who sit there for hours reading a couple of pages.

Yes it's a bummer, but that's the way the write, it's also a bummer that a lot of people don't find reading hard.

I think a lot of it is just persistence: I can honestly see myself getting better at it, looking at past cases I read early on, I can read them much quicker now...

I agree with Moonlight: Reading the facts of the case carefully is very important, otherwise you end up halfway through the sentencing, and you don't know what the judges are referring to.

you're lucky, I can't skim on law cases, I always miss something important.

I prefer the Bronte sisters and Dickens. Regency era fiction is overshadowed by the gothic and realist movement (although austen's period straddles the latter)

Otherwise, POTY. Undeniably, the epitome of an arts / law graduate.
