hi everyone! just wanted to ask how you guys spend your holidays - do you go out every day? stay home and revise? sit around and do nothing?
i mean, year ten and year eleven are quite different in that this is our last 'practise' year before the real deal - can we really afford to bludge around like we have last year?

As of today this is my plan and it seems to be working
8:00 am wake up
9:00am- 1:00pm study
1:00pm lunch
2:00pm relax, chill, enjoy holidays

I just switch it the other way if I'm going out in the morning!!!

don't study in the year 11 holidays!! year 11 is for having fun. you shouldn't even study too much in yr 12 holidays...you gotta have a balance. if you do too much study you will just burn out...i have seen people do this and it's not pretty. :)

year 11 means absolutely nothing
therefore i will be doing nil study and nil school work.

savor your holidays while you can, playtime!

but i think to just at least browse/revise through the things u were weak in or if possible everything u have done in term 1, wud be slightly beneficial. which is what im prolli gonna do. and have kinda started =]
but definitely, i'll enjoy the holz wen i can still call them holidays =]

Do both, your an idiot if you spend your entire holiday studying and an idiot if you spend your entire holiday mucking around. Balance is good.

i dno, if you've played hard then it's easier to stop procrastination - you've had your fun for the day

I studied from 9-3 with 45 mins combined of breaks and now I'm sitting on my ass having a great time with no worries for the rest of the day =D. It's great.

Hmm for all the holidays in year 11, i might've done 5 hours worth of work. And that would've been attempting to read the boring book Othello and then skimming sparknotes for Othello =="

It's not a bad idea to do SOME study over the holidays, as suggested. I do believe "brushing" up on the finer points may be a good idea, but, as mentioned before...chillax =]
