Honour roll 90+ / meet the premier? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

If you get 90+ in 10 Units i thought all you get is your name on the SMH honour roll...

but some people say you get to meet the premier at some award ceremony

for this year - when is it?

Well there are quite a few so i would doubt it....I think its only 1st place in course people. (which have already being presented

It's a Premier's Award, you get a glass trophy and stuff too.

you get your name in the paper if you get a band 6 in anything

if you get band 6 in 5 subjects you get a "premiers award" in the city or somethin and u go in the paper as a "distinguised acheiver"

i got band 6 in one subject i dont think i get in the paper

my sister got this award...basically all you get is

*a certificate
*shake bobs hand
*glass trophy
*free lunch style thing the food is apparently good
*name in paper

Honour roll is over 12000 people, so I'd say it's band six in anything.

Getting top band in one or more subjects gets you in newspaper tomorrow. Getting top band in 10 or more units lets you meet bob

i might be wrong but i thought the premier's award was for those who get 92+ in 10units or more. but i hope thats not true...i want it!
yeah and i think its using ur hsc mark, not examination.

Yeah so did I! rock on (band 6 in general maths = failing in 2 unit maths lol)
