Internet... really easy to do it, and you can watch the screen mindlessly to prepare yourself for the shock.

I'll be getting my results through the new-fangled wonders of the internet. Indeed, the 'loading' does add an element of tension to proceedings..

Internet. The cheapest way apart from waiting for it in mail.

I don't know. I think the question you should be asking is HOW are you gonna look at them. With papers covering the screen then slide it down slowly to reveal the marks? or Just let it pop up in front of your face?

Internet.

I'm going to wait a few days, to hear about what others got, before finding out my own hsc marks :)

18th - results come out, sleep

Later that evening, ask people what they got.

19th - UAIs come out, sleep

Later that evening, ask people what they got.

20th, 21st, continue finding out what people got.

New Year's Eve - find out what I got via Internet.

hehe, that's the plan.

And If I can't wait, then of course, I'll fire up the browser and say "hit me" - prepared to be shocked ;)

I registered for the SMS but I'll go on the net after to get my exam marks... Why the hell does the SMS cost $1.10 though??! They say it's "to cover the cost of the SMS" but there's no fuckn way it would cost that much for EACH sms...geez... And yeah I'll be pranking my friends who registered for it >: ) I'll use my dad's fone so they dunno its me meehahahah

I don't want my results :(

Regarding the SMS service,

I think there should be an option to have "one SMS per subject"

That would make things interesting. For example, you can choose to have one subject "hit you" and have an intermission between receiving HSC results.

The same applies for the web-based StudentsOnline.

They should have 1 page, per subject. You'll feel much better if your marks "rolled in" at a steady pace, and you can 'progress' through the gauntlet at your own pace, taking it all in one step at a time :)

My two cents.
