we could all prob get it but the exam pressure made some ppl have mental blanks
right now if i do the whole test again we prob get 90% of it right coz theres no pressure

i was feeling ok about the exam until i just read wat u all wrote about it...
i didnt think i was dumb... i dropped 3 unit last term coz it was pissing me off and taking up to much time.. so glad i did coz i would not want to have to do the 3 unit exam on thurs...
but seriously...is this like a nerd forum or something... how is that everyone wants to get 90% or more or its not good enough... realistically not everyone is going to get band 5 or 6. I just hope that u arent disappointed when u get the results... i know that i didnt do that great.. im not sad or disappointed coz i tried my hardest. the hsc is not everything... let it go ppl.. just let it go...

i oculdn't do that probalbity question umm i think it was blue, white, green thing i think sufming obut tickets, that was fukni ahrd prolly cos we never got taught that topic and was too lazy to teahc myself after da trails cos our school said we can elarn it last, that n Q8 n 10 non attempt

yeh u had to draw a huge tree diagram for that q... took me foreva... the paper waz a bit... especially how it had extended 2u work... like things 2u ppl dont do... which is a disadvantage .. why do they make a 2u paper with 3u shit in it.. isnt that wot 3u exams are for?

i didn't do it, coz i am sick, but i struggled through the 2 unit course and yeh they should have a maths course in between general and 2 unit coz god dammit i hate failing!!

and oh yeah .. that probability question with the tickets.
this is how i did it :
there's three tickets each 100
so probability of red tickets winning all three is:
100/300 * 99/299 * 98/298 coz its without replacement
so dats: 1617/44551 .. =/
den the next one was if each ticket wins
so its
100/300 * 100/299 * 100/298
which equals to: 10000/267306 .. hmm
