Each normal school day, how much time on average do you put into MX2????

I used to have to do 8 extra hours of study minimum when I did ex2.... hence y I dropped it. :\

so lets say u get home at 4pm.. den it's like up to 12am or more?

i used to do about half an hour per day on average. which wasnt enough. ive asked people who got good marks in 4U (95+) and they say that 4U usually takes 50% of your HSC study time.

Well you are supposed to put in as an absolute minimum an equal amount of hours of homework as classtime..and I do that but the time it takes varies, hence the average being fourty minutes, I also can't do alot more than that because of my Ext 2 English major work needing so much time, so thats how it is.

my schedule depends on what assessments i have coming up mainly....

so no tight schedule every day...

I also tend to take it as it comes. I hit 4U math pretty hard on a couple days in the holidays and got about a term ahead of our topic schedule which has meant I could really ease off on doing a lot of 4U work the past couple of weeks. On average I'd do about 30-50 mins of math a night but it's always pretty casual. I'll do it while listening to music or while writing an essay (the most unproductive way to write one...) or in between procrastination snacks.

Yes, I sat both last year in the HSC, but I am not sure if I am what you call an accelerant or not since TAFE has very different protocols for that sort of thing.

MX2 compared to my other subjects is a lot more time, but i hate it wen english assessments come near my maths assessments, dey kill a lot of my time , i pretty much do 0 maths when eng. assessments come around
it always take so long preparing my essays cuz im so shit at english lol.

and KFunk i always listen to music when working, any subject!
it's da way to go!

for mx2 we have a 2hr class twice a week, and I dont open my books outside of this time, do no homework nor study, but the rest of my class do a fair bit, each having tutors and one being the teachers son, they put in a bit of work. My effort for MX2 is pathetic.

we have 2 50 minute periods every week meaning we have to rush a lot in class to get everything done. I usually only do about 30 minutes a day solely for extension 2, its not that demanding

What if u do a trial paper at night, doesn't that mean u gotta spend at least 3hrs on it? should this be included in ur study time for ext2?
And another question: when u r doing past papers, do u actually do it in the order form Q1 t oQ8?

3 and 4u collectively would have taken up a good 80+% of my study time, and I did during the week 2 3u papers and 3 4u papers in the mid year period.

Nothing - unless I have an assessment the next day. That is when I get scared I will fail, and do three/four questions to calm myself.
I haven't done any past papers yet - has everyone finished the syllabus already?
English takes up more than 90% of my study time, thanks to my 'Hitler resurrected' teacher.

Extension I Math, I do a bit more frequently. Its what I turn to in between my procrastination breaks and guilt trips.

same question as ishq.. if you're doing a past paper a night.. have you finished the syllabus.. or are you doing parts of a past paper at night?
PS thats crazy. doing a paper a night when its like half way through the year [well a little over half way, but still CRAZY]

i do about an hour on the wednesday night before my sole 4unit class on thursday, and then excerices from that class for another hour or so on sundays, not rele much work...
