Nah, more like a had a shitty day because some anonymous asshole bought the last copy of NYPC I've totally been eyeing for the past few days.

I do like that people think I'm drunk though, thanks for the laugh.

Meh.
Chem: Fermentation prac. Totally confused class.
Maths: English/physics/maths work.
Double Eng: Read Hamlet.
Physics: Newtonian Relativity.
IPT: Sub. Tried to BoS. Lagg.

English speech due tomorrow. I'm screwed. I always get the lowest mark for speeches, even if I try. I wish english would just die.

Okay, I hate journeys.

Someone please tell me how to write a decent essay about The Lime Tree Bower my Prison and Frost at Midnight, in relation to this quote "it's the journey that matters, not the destination".

I did it today and only got 14/20, how the fuck is someone meant to write about this properly?

I feel so unmotivated. At first, I studied everyday like crazy.
Now I seriously can't be stuffed.

I still listen in class and pay attention then and stuff.
But I get home and just BUM around for ages. :|

Welcome to the world of being human.

Got my report back today, it's all right  I mean the marks are pretty dismal, but the comments are glowing which is all my parents even remotely care about. It said three times that I lacked confidence in my academic abilities though, lol

What do they mean by that Jachie?

My comments were pretty much I can do so much better and my marks don't reflect my abilities (which I don't understand, they were all high), and that just because I can cruise along doesn't mean I should.

English is shitting me off though. Help me Jachie, help.

They mean that I'm really not as much of a dumbass as I think and tell people I am, and that I need to stop thinking and telling people as much, whooo

Dude, you really want to ask me about English right now? When I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown? (I jest, I'm almost on the verge. Tell me what you need help with, I'll try and make you less shit.)

Oh right.

Yeah I do, but I'll ease the pain of your nervous breakdown afterwards!

Okay, these paragraphs... what is wrong with them?

Coleridge undertakes this journey because he has been left behind by his friends who have gone on a nature walk; because of an injury he cannot follow. He embarks on a journey in which he imagines what his friends are seeing.

The composer relays this to the reader by utilising personification, the line "that branchless ash, Unsunn'd and damp, whose few poor yellow leaves Ne'er tremble in the gale" is a prime example of this.
It brings alive what what he is seeing and adds a sense of realism to the poem.

Hahaha, what an awkward come-on, hey.

Um well it'd probably be best if I do this when I haven't got a buzz on but I'll try my best. I think the problem isn't so much the points you're addressing, but rather how you're articulating them, it's lacking that "sophistication" that my teacher always harps on about.

Coleridge undertakes this journey (bah, try to avoid set-ups like this, see if you can reword this without mentioning the word journey) as a result of being unable to join his friends on a nature walk. Left to his own devices he transcends the physical journey his friends are currently experiencing and embarks on his own imaginary one, visualising what he expects his friends to be seeing (that's really shit, I'm sorry, try rewording that completely because my brain is mush right now).

The composer relays this to the reader by utilising personification, the line "that branchless ash, Unsunn'd and damp, whose few poor yellow leaves Ne'er tremble in the gale" exemplifies a realism that is sustained throughout the poem whilst painting a literal portrait that is "brought to life" (I think there may be a better phrase to this but I cbf thinking of one, I'll get back to you here) to the audience. (I’d kind of expand on this point a bit more, like what you mean by “brought alive” and why it’s important, but since I don’t know what poem you’re doing I can’t really help you here lol)

That's not very good, meh, I'll edit this post again in like an hour and a bit lol
