Q. belonging is more than ownership. It is about relationships. Do you agree? In your answer refer to your prescribed text (Romulus my Father is mine) and TWO other texts of your own choosing

I'm kinda having doubts about how I would approach this question, but I think so far that this question is about arguing the importance of relationships in particular of connections to ppl, places, groups, communities and the world as a whole. In Romulus, the connections between Raimond and the Australian landscape is important, as well as the father-son relationship and the relationship with Hora, all of which profoundly impact on his moral development and contributing to a sense of belonging. Yet how does ownership come into this?

i guess in relationships you can feel that you have certain "rights" that outsiders don't have. i didn't do romulus, but isn't the wife a slapper or something? you could bring in how the 1950s [?] marital dynamic has been dismantled as a result.
