I agree with AJ that age SHOULDNT matter, that a lot of things SHOULDNT matter. In other cultures it often doesnt. Young girls at 13 can be married off to 50 year old men to be impregnated.
I think the issue is one of societies view and, whilst you may love someone younger, or so you think, she really isnt old enough to have matured feelings yet and probably doesnt know what love even is. As someone speaking with more experience than they'd like to have this sort of thing will end up messy and painful and the law will step in almost undoubtably. If it doesnt you are lucky but they will grow up one day and want to experience new things. They will feel horribly used their whole life and probably think they have wasted it and you will end up confused as to why it didnt work.
The reason is simple. They are just a kid.
I personally go with the majority. 16 is legal. Stick with that. But if you are willing to go through the hell and if its for the right reasons none of us can stop you.........
