21 is correct but i think ii) is 714 because the dog has to come back

a = 2
tn = 2 + (n-1)d = 32
2 + (n-1)1.5 = 32
(n-1)1.5 = 30
n-1 = 20
n = 21

ii) no because the dog runs back and forth so it should be double that.
