huy like you i wasnt going to look until the mail and had lasted all day before returning home to recieve a mail package which tells me the navy (i'm joining the navy) need my mark tonight so now i have to look

chip, I see. You can't avoid that, or delay it, so I guess you had to check.

I still haven't checked - late last night I was trying to access Studets Online and HSC Results - funnily enough, and it wasn't even online!

(Still isn't).

I guess I was ready to see my marks, but the sites were down, LOL. When I didn't want to see the marks, the site was online, but when I was ready to see them, the sites go down. It's a sign...

I got Examination Mark - 50/100
Assessment mark - 51/100
and HSC mark - 51
Lets just say that chem isn't my best subject.
Could someone please tell me what the differece is between all three and what each mark means?

Assessment Mark - your mark at school, based on internal assessment tasks, and has been moderated to suit your school, etc.

Examination Mark - your mark for the exam paper, which has been aligned. This is not your raw exam mark.


HSC Mark - the average of your moderated assessment mark and your aligned exam mark.

Is it possible to get lower than 50?? Does this mean from my marks that l have passed?

Misturi: No problem

You don't pass or fail with the "new" HSC.

Band 1 is still a performance band (a mark of less than 50).

But yeah... you "passed" the HSC subjects if you want to see it that way.
