What do you guys mean by "Vietnamese Continuers scales you down"? I was always brainwashed into thinking that if I did poorly, then it would be kicked out of my top 10 units for Year 12.
I'm doing Vietnamese for preliminary next year.
So far, Year 10 has been incredulously hard. What we learn is 100% Vietnamese, but I doubt it would be any easier in the future even as with 50% English learning.
I find it slack how Vietnamese in senior years is pretty much designed for only international students.
And stop feeling sorry/sad for the international students. Their parents are multimillionaires and they get prioritised in university!
EDIT: Oh yeah, I "accelerated" (I'm one grade higher in language school). I'm not sure if it's an advantage or not, but at least I won't be wasting my time in Year 12.
