aww haha posts it in general maths forum ;)

to answer your question, depends on your school. Some crappy schools make you go, but ask your teacher.

These threads are annoying.

You haven't even finished the 2u HSC course, your school is most likely going to have 1 teacher teaching you maths. That maths teacher will not neglect 2u, and most of maths will primarily be 2u and 3u in the earlier parts of year 12. There may be days where your teacher might decide to do 2u instead of 4u, so you WILL finish the course.

Also it is 4u for a reason, it contains the 2 unit course, extension 1 course and extension 2 course. 2 + 1 + 1 = 4.

With 4u when you get harder 3u questions, most will contain 2u stuff in it as well.

Look. I thought general meant general maths discussion
This is like mocking at general kids lol.

It depends on your school. Like my school only has 4 unit class in the morning so during normal class we have to sit in 2U class and study ourselves or learn 2U things. So in 4U, there is harder 3U topic which contains 3U and 2U content. So, you have to learn finance and interest maths in 2U in order to learn this topic. kappa.

It usually depends on school o3o Alot of schools have the first or so weeks of term 1 HSC year just organising prelim content and timetables and getting all that sorted out. E.g No extension subjects picked up in year 12 will be started untl next week in my school, similarly any subjects dropped still need to be attended until next week. Simply ask your teacher lol

i'm a bit late but OP it depends on the school; some schools allow it while others don't by running a 2u and MX2 exam at the same time.

I've found out that my school makes ppl attend 2u classes and do the assessments until half yearlies. Lol the maths faculty has yet to organise the class/es, they're so out of it tbh
