lol, our white gloves look silly! We have to wear them because every year they bring in a special guest who has to shake the hands of all the prizewinners (there are easily over 150 people) and, being a private school and having to maintain a snobbish image, they make us wear them so that the guest doesn't get sweaty hands.

btw. chait - do you know how many people aren't turning up to speech night?

yea, know of some ppl going o'seas or are just not coming..some ppl aren't bothered b/c they didn't get a prize... i didn't get one but i'm still coming since this is the last school event.. then we'll finally be free!!

yes, I wouldn't miss it because it's the last time we're all together.

I used to be scared of freedom. I'm not anymore, thank goodness. It'll be a relief to finally get out of that place and do soemthing else....feels like I've been trapped in a time capsule watching everyone else make their lives fulfilling and unique.
