but you don't know how many times i thought "oh the thread must have been deleted," to then look for the remains of it, not find any remains so then realise that the thread was right there.

I dunno, heaps? maybe 30 or so? i meant plenty of great girls all the time

asked out? like actually said something to make my intentions clear? back in the day when i actually made some sort of verbal announcement, maybe 10?

This ones easy - read the signs. Assume she isnt into you because most girls wont be, so you make her interested by talking about cool shit. Signs that i follow strongly include touching[usually your arm but if its somewhere special - check please!] that wierd sleepy look they get with the dilated pupils. Verbal ques and a general feeling that things are clicking [i guess this might come under pheremones, but whatever]

No reciprocation of interest. It is pretty obvious. I used to have coffee and chat with this one girl for a few hours a week last semester. She was a total dime piece, but I knew that whilst she enjoyed chatting with me, she had not interest in a relationship. It's pretty obvious...I mean, you should be able to tell just through normal body language and conversation.
