Would like some opinions-
A collection of photographs, collages and drawings depicting the numerous aspects and qualities of my little sister.
I think it could be quite good if it encompassed a variety of emotions, sizes, mediums and techniques.
And quite convenient because she's a very close model hahah
Thoughts?

Edit: 2 photos-examples.

Man, she looks just like the chick out of 'Hard Candy'....

But anyway, i think it could be good, she looks like she could turn out some really interesting photographs/paintings, but you MUST be careful not to fall into cliche 'teenage style' photography/paintings. Discuss it with your teacher.

How were you thinking of putting it together in terms of the mixed media?

Holy crap, just read the plot summary of that....0__0
By cliche, are you referring to 'myspace-style' photos? Or something else?

I was thinking that both paintings, photos and drawings would be presented on a series of canvases....but I'm not solid on that yet.

yea, like the sulky 'nobody understands my feelings' kind of teenage photos, they're too 2 dimensional, shouldnt be that hard to steer clear of.

do you mean putting multiple images on a single canvas (and having a few of these) or having one canvas per image?

I think one photo/drawing/collage per canvas...they probably wouldn't be too much bigger than A4~ proportions...

yea i like that idea a lot more than a couple of larger canvases, it can look a bit tacky in my opinion. What are you going to do about the drawings? drawing on canvas could be tricky.
