Dark Creatures (Part 1: Vampiric Elephants)

O' brave traveller, do lend an ear,
For those who are wise have a creature to fear.

Aquatic and evil, vampiric in death,
Their take their prey's blood until the victim's last breath.

Their tusks are deadly and they hold their prey down,
If you are lucky you will just drown.

They capture their prey from ships that sail,
And when they are done, clean up with their tail.

They hide in the mud when there are no inns,
And avoid mermaid food; they hate fish with fins.

To scare them away, there is but one trick:
One must dress in a mouse suit and eat some garlic.

They look quite menacing, and just float about,
Beware brave traveller, the vampiric elephants are out.
