Lynn feels sorry for poor Thomas (who is probably at work by now) and sends him happy vibes to make the time pass more quickly :)

Lynn is also muchly annoyed that she does not have the administrative privilages to upgrade her version of msn, as it is not letting her sign in. *shakes fist at computer* She asks everyone how their weekend has been. :)

EDIT: Lynn has finally managed to get into msn and is currently patting herself on the back :D

Lynn would be more than happy to look at Evan's proposal :D Although she will be going out in several minutes to some dinner party, she will look at it the first opportunity she gets and will critique and send it back by tonight hopefully. :)

Marcus apologises to Thomas for his absence. Marcus went to the city to watch the Chinese New Year parade with some friends today. He hopes everyone is well.
Marcus greets Lynn, and asks her how her day has been.

EDIT: Marcus would love to read Evan's proposal. Marcus informs Evan that Marcus' party was not today. Evan is on Marcus' invitation list, but Marcus hasn't sent the e-mail out yet.

Marcus tells Evan that it is not a "rubbishy" proposal, though Marcus knows that Evan is just being silly, :p. Evan deserves a gold star for his work so far.
Marcus informs Evan that he has a solid proposal - showing consideration of concept and form, and the potential for further development through research (it also shows that Evan is quite clever :) ). Marcus understands that this proposal is still in the works. He would like to assist Evan by suggesting that he clean up some of his phrasing, as it may be obfuscating the clarity of his exposition, ;) (in particular, Marcus thinks that Evan should rephrase "...utilises the form and conventions of the classic fairy tale to make a statement primarily on the social and psychological influences of the expectations of ourselves and others.").

EDIT: Marcus likes the tentative title!

Thank you! :) Evan is pleased because this means that he has a lot of breathing space since it is not due till the 21st and he can do all the sprucing on the weekends since everyone in his class is going to write theirs cold turkey it gives Evan a massive advantage

Marcus wonders how Evan has spent his day.
Evan has been reading Crime Fiction as rapidly as possiible for his teacher informed him she expects him to be competent to use all the set texts and ten(minimum) related material. He is now having his requisite time out

Marcus thinks that one would need no more than five pieces of related material. Any more is just silly. What happened to treating texts with the depth they deserve?

Evan already had 4 but his teacher stated that you write about the subject as the focus unlike in advanced were you basicalliy covered your texts so he therefore must be able to make reference to this many related's in his essay

Then maybe Marcus can send in an extended essay to my teacher to change her opinion on relateds.
On other news Evan thinks he has either been rejected as a Benefactor or it is being argued long and hard as it has been some time since he applied and itt doesn't have any news in his CP.

Marcus informs Evan that reply times vary. Marcus' took a few days. Marcus urges Evan to be patient. As more and more people are applying, replying will take longer.
