James appreciates Justin and Lynn's unrelenting efforts against stupidity and will show his appreciation by continuing to put up fatty posts filled with feedback :p

Justin and Lynn have spent hours between us trying to clean that thread up. The sheer amount of deletions required was phenomenal. :(
Evan sends <3 & *hugs* to JD & Lynneh.:)
Evan also offers that he too will clean up thread with his *ahem* stick. It might not have a mod sticker on it, but Evan is sure it will prove useful nonetheless.;)

Evan promised James that he'd go through his MW with "a fine toothcomb" when he finishes trials on Friday.

:(

Where's that toothcomb? :p

Evan felt great amusement today at a discovery - Justin has a devoted fan or twin on BoS:D apparently there is a j_hakka_v2 hanging around in showcase:p
EDIT: Evan was mistaken, it appears it is an evil spirit akin to coreyjk that has taken on Justin's image.

No, j_hakka_v2 is not an evil spirit, he is *gone*. Lynn lost her temper on the showcase forum yesterday. She really does not approve of trolls.

In regards to mistakes in the Major Work, there is an entire thread on this in the main ee2 forum. To summarise, most of us have mistakes or parts we'd prefer changed. There's nothing that can be done about it, and markers will probably understand what you mean anyway :)

jarred enters and says hello to all ppl viewing this thread.
he wonders if anyone thinks he should start seriously studying cos he failed two exams, and nearly failed 2 others in his trials. 37% total in english, 39% in 3 unit maths, which placed me first, 71% 2 unit maths, first again, 59% multimedia and 54% chemistry.

Lynn remembers this time from last year.

The most important thing she can stress now is not to panic and fall into pieces, because you will not be in a productive frame of mind. Yes, the HSC sucks - yes, the HSC is stupid, but it's still something we all have to go through - try to make the most of it :)

Procrastinating when you know you need to study is one of the worst situations to be in. Ignore the parents, ignore the teachers, and study because *you* want to (this works for all the rebellious "I don't need no study!" people... haha, not like Lynn was one last year... *cough*). Lynn does not need to list the benefits of consistent study, as it has probably been shoved down your throats numerous times since the beginning of the year. But she can definately say that it is easier once you get started, and a heck of a lot easier (and better) if you do it because *you* are telling yourself to :)

There is nothing worse, she muses, than looking back on the HSC and saying "damn, I really could have tried just a little bit harder". Some basic preparation will help you avoid this terrible scenario. No-one is forcing you to study 24/7, but make sure you at least know your stuff to a decent level - don't kid yourself with "oh, it'll work ok" because the night before the HSC starts, you'll be kicking yourself for time wasted.

The HSC *will* be easier than Trials. That's why they make Trials so hard (but you already know this). Take the time between now and the HSC to regroup, to learn from your mistakes, and to really ingrain everything you need to know into your head :) Don't wait for later - start today!

EDIT:

Lynn has found the groovy colour site! (http://www.colourstrology.com) Every birthday is allotted a certain colour. It may not be 100% accurate, but it's fun! In order of birthdays that Lynn knows from the nearest upcoming one:

Justin: Bok Choy
"You are highly magnetic and people find you attractive. You are a wonderful friend, mate or ally once someone has earnt your loyalty. You are not afraid to work and you often delight in a job well done. Your personal colour helps you release old thoughts and outmoded behaviour..."

Evan: Regal Orchid
"Your optimism and strength of purpose are an inspiration to others. You are a catalyst for change and transformation. Known for telling it like it is, those closest to you can always count on you for telling the truth. People want you in their corner, and you are fiercely loyal to those you love or believe in. Your personal colour reminds you of your greatness..."

Katie: Chili Pepper
"You can help many people if you keep true to the spiritual part of your nature. It is important for you to stay connected to generous and loving people, as partnerships are an intricate part of your life and your happiness. Writing, medicine and sharing your thoughts with others are all activities that resonate with your inner gifts. Your personal colour helps balance your intellect with your emotions..."

Lynn: Pompeian Red
"You are not the type of person to take things lying down. You are a fighter and a formidable foe. You have come into this world to make a difference. People may not always know how you feel, but they will know where you stand in regard to your opinions and ideas. It is important for you to remember that life has cycles. Make friends with change and you will feel freer. Your personal colour combines the qualities of integrity and passion..."

Marcus: Burnished Lilac
"You have a strong independant streak and know how to do things for yourself. Making decisions, following an outline and doing anything that is cerebral in nature comes easily to you. It is important for you to honour the emotional side of life, especially in regards to relationships and expressing your feelings. Your personal colour helps balance the aggressive with the sensitive side of your nature..."

Alan: Celadon Green
"Although you have a good sense of humour, there can be an unusually serious side to your nature. You tend to carry more than your share of responsibility. You are determined and not afraid to work hard. You have an original way of seeing things and are never short on ideas. Your personal colour helps you to stay lighthearted as you manifest your dreams..."

Amber: Sweet Lavender
"You are not afraid to fight for your beliefs. You work hard, especially if what you are doing helps people, animals, or the world. Due to your sensitive nature, you need a certain amount of time to yourself where you can recharge and replenish your energy. Your personal colour connects you with the sweetness that life has to offer..."

Susan: Winter Sky
"You were given a rare gift combination of artistic creativity and financial know-how. It is a wonderful gift to be able to create your dreams whilst creating a financial structure to support them. It is important that you share your talent and your wealth with others because it is the sharing that will bring you some of the most worthwhile blessings. Your personal colour helps you stay centred..."

Tennille: Peridot
"You are extremely intelligent and love to learn. Being productive is important for you. You need to move physically towards your dreams and not get stuck in fear or confusion. Your answers come to you through faith and action. Your personal colour helps ease away any worry you might be carrying..."

Matt: Canyon Sunset
"People are naturally drawn to your energy and charisma. Interacting with others stimulates you and makes you feel alive. You are persuasive and can be aggressive if you need to be. You can instigate change and enthusiasm when you are present. Quick on your feet, you are not easy to control or manipulate. Your personal colour helps ground your energy so you can carve out your own unique path..."

Liam: Bright Aqua
"You are enormously creative and are capable of making things happen. You know how to make magic if you do not let your emotions overwhelm you. You need encouragement and supportive friends and allies. Your personal colour gives you breadth of vision..."

Diana: Lily Green
"A loving home and family is important to your emotional well-being. You are a natural builder, and creating a strong foundation on which to build is imperative. You are not afraid to work hard to achieve your aims. Productivity and financial security are things you take very seriously. Your personal colour helps balance responsibility with playfulness..."

Ahh. Lynn understands now.

To appease Marcus, Lynn changes stats again:

NAME------------HEIGHT-------------WEIGHT-----------SHOE SIZE

Lynn-------------155cm---------------Now 53kg--------Ladies 5, Mens - nonexistant?!
Susan------------155cm---------------
Amber-----------175cm---------------63kg--------------Men's 11
Alan--------------175cm---------------63kg--------------Men's 11
Marcus-----------181m---------------80kg--------------Men's 14
Justin-------------183cm---------------64kg-------------Men's 13
Thomas------------*!*!*!HANGOVER!*!*!*------------------
Tim---------------188cm---------------85kg-------------Men's US 13

Lynn also discovers that 181cm = 5 POINT 9383202 feet. She laughs and assumes that this is where Marcus got his "Five foot Nine inches" from.
Just to bring something back from the dead, Justin thinks we should update the stats. As it is, the shoe size he submitted was apparently incorrect.

Start the list over?

Screen name: jhakka
Name: Justin
Gender: Male
Height: ~183cm
Weight: ~62kg
Shoe size: Men's 12
