hehe

lol this is interesting, by steve waugh on the marytn run-out/sacrifice: I thought some of what I read about that was way over the top. It was a mix-up, these things happen in cricket. If you read the papers the next day, you'd think I'd committed a criminal act. Both of us were at fault, there was a mix-up, simple as that. There as a lot of finger-pointing, a lot of innuendo, and that's not right. Let's have some fair dinkum.

well i have to say its more waughs fault than martyn's...

but they were also going off at waugh 4 declaring the retirement too late leaving too little time for preparation... lol seriously....

let me try to explain.

1/2. noone wants to open....sehwag would rather bat lower down the order, but it is packed with no spaces.

3. dravid is a good pick for no. 3, IMO
4. tendulkar wants to, and rightly so, should bat at no. 4
5. ganguly is kinda forced to bat this low then
6. laxman will always be after the capitain.

ganguly will remain low in the order, i think. his form overall in the last 3-4 yrs hasnt been great.

too true....just got his double ton....he had a couple of lives though, the dropped catch and the lbw descision.
oh well...just waiting till india bats..hope that they bat out the remaining days to piss australia off [very unlikely!]

but once australia gets off to a start like they have...i think its literally impossible to beat that...

i mean, their bowling attack is 'ok' atm...McGrath and Lee out..and Bichel played shit in the first test...Bracken is good, but meh...

hope Sachin can fire up..i really want him to play well...

yeh same here...i really doubt that india have any chance at winning this game....very slim chance at winnning the series.
a draw from this game would be satisfactory.
