I have to write a written essay for my assignment, and we were provided with a limited amount of paper to write it on and I'm trying to maximise how many words I can write. Is it allowable in this circumstance and in an exam to indent a paragraph (like so: http://mrsswearingen.com/files/2010/08/5-paragraph-essay-003.jpg) instead of skipping a line to signify a new paragraph? I ask because I can potentially write an extra 150 words from the lines saved :thrust:

Thanks!

I would imagine so. Line skipping isn't mandated anywhere, and I know plenty of people who prefer to indent.
