so....anyone get that invitation to come early for a breakfast or something....what's that about?

It where some of the highest uai (thus more or les garenteed entry) students get together and meet up! ill be there though not as a breakfast invitee cos im already at uni but im helping out! i went last yr, its good fun and its nice to see people before hand...uni can be a lonely place!

u can just show up and get the free break fast... i was honoured to get invitation... tho now retrospectively, it's rather pointless

edit: no offence to those who got invi tho... if u did get an invi, that means u ahve acheived academic excellence... u shoudl pad urself on the pad =)

I work all year round for the uni, in the marketing and student recruitment unit, but i've only been doing it for about 6 months so far. They just sent me a letter in the mail last july looking for ppl to work... was rather random!

But they have union people working on the day too, so i suppose you could contact them and see if they have anything going. I know for O-week you can be a SPOC volunteer, but you have to fill out an application and go for an interview.
