iprimus has a 4 or 5 hour session limit. If you want no session limit get Ihug. They have a 3 hour session limit ONLY during peak times. You would never be disconnected more than once a day and it would only occur between 6pm-10pm based on my experiences. Most of the time I have been able to stay connected for days at a time. My record is about 100 hours. It is the same price as Iprimus i think - $24.95 per month.

i never had any probs with session limits, i had some downloads running for like 4 days straight w/o it disconnecting

even with dial up at uni, i should be able to download about twice as fast as i can from home =]

Yuh, it's not the modem thats screwed, it's my computer.
I dunno what's going to happen... I guess if the worst comes to the worst I can use the internet rooms the uni provides.

I'd be happy to take a look at it for you if you still plan on bringing it. I have been doing computer servicing for my whole extended family and computers are my forte.

For now though you could describe the problem if you wanted to.

Heh thanks, but I don't understand the problem so I can't explain it... my mum was some computer programmer for ages so she's usually able to do this kind of stuff, but apparently the computer's not responding or something. I don't know, it made her swear a lot...
I may accept your offer though, I don't know how long I can go without the internet, LOL.
