is the invitation people got where it says 'Professor Gavin brown, vice chancellor of usyd invites u to a preview of info day for high achieving hsc students', its a 'free breakfast' ???

i didnt get 99.9+ and i got one, is this the one? sorry for any misunderstandings on my part!

no i think you only got the information day, i think most people get that.

it says that im invited for the breakfast from 8.30am -9.30am though

Probably you're very high up then. I only got a 'come to our info day on 4th Jan' letter. Ironically, it says there: 'students ilke you are among those best equipped to benefit from the high quality of academic resources available within the University and are most able to further our tradition of excellence'--ha, as if I'm that good! I didn't achieve a bad UAI, but it's not stellar unlike all you 99+ people, so that must've been a default letter...hmmm...

I felt very special as well...it arrived in my mailbox today; it's a personal invite to a breakfast before the Info Day for "high achieving students". I got 99.7, but I'm guessing that it's for people who got 10+ units in the top band....and I don't think it does have anything to do with our preferences; my highest USyd preference is 4th.

I got one... and my UAI is nowhere near 95... I thought they sent to everyone who had USyd on their lists...

Yeah I got 99.95 and got invitation with scholarship offer in the mail. Hopefully i can go, will be good to meet you there c_james. What courses you looking at atm? :)

If it's for anyone with an UAI of >98, then they must have invited quite a lot of people. So much for "beating the crowd".

i think someone mentioned that they were invited as well with a uai of ~50s?

they mentioned that ~8000 people get uai of above 90 in smh
how many do you think would get above 98?
