Does anybody know whether it's worth getting the iPhoto as opposed to the iPod? I'm not sure. Which one should I get? And what's the price range?

Hows the battery ?
Good so far, advertised as 12 hours so its the same as 4th gen mini's

I hate iPod earphones so i'm using my $99 sony ones

The downside to the shuffle is that its so small and light, you get paranoid if you've lost it

lol, yeah that's what I meant (I'm not too good in the ipod lingo)

I've been using it for about an hour everyday since I got it last week and still haven't had to charge it.

Oh ok, yeah I'm a uni student and have an apple shop like 10 mins away from me. Sick.

But problem remains, iPod shuffles only take mp3 files, not wma, so all teh songs I've ripped onto my computer, I can't use them, and I don't download. So is there any way to change the format of wma's to mp3?

wow i so didnt know that.. i was just about to ask
is it the same with .ogg files too?
No, it doesn't. Files with the OGG extension are encoded with the Ogg Vorbis codec, moreso found as the audio codec on movies rather than music files, which is why it is not that widely supported by mp3 players.
