How did you go in your trials?
I did the CSSA trial
Multiple Choice 9/20 I stuffed it up by putting the wrong answer for one which screwed up the order for the rest
Short answers 22-24
Q21: 9/10
Q22: 7/10
Q23 4/10
Q24 4/10
Option TPS Q25: 15/20
Option Multimedia 16/20
Funny thing was that we weren't even taught multimedia in class, and I did the best in that section

I ended up getting 64%
Pretty crap but still ranked 1st by 2 marks

da guy who came 1st got 71%, da teacher reckons dat if he gets dat in da HSC he'll get scaled up to 90+, ne truth in dat? da teacher also reckons dat the average mark in da HSC is around 40%, wtf ne truth in dat??? he is a HSC marker by the way.

oh and i ended up gettin 63% came 2nd or 3rd.

He won't get scaled up but he will get aligned up.

(Basically, aligned marks equate to the marks you get from the board of studies. They probably don't want to make everyone feel bad, as practically nobody fails on paper, though plenty will fail the exam itself. Contrastly, scaled marks are the ones used to calculate your UAI.
Really, scaled marks are the only ones that count. Aligned marks merely calm your fears for the next 24 hours...)

lol I havent even done my trial yet! Its 2morrow I probably wont do that great since I havent had a chance to study for it but meh...congrads to those who have finished and good luck to those getting their results back

i got better than i expected...as soon as i left the exam room i thought ill be happy with a pass...but to my shock i ended up 2nd with 76%...the first ranked guy got 85% plus jus 1 mark away fromo a perfect 20/20 in TPS oh wellz gl 2 u all

Hey speed, was that the CSSA paper where 71% was top mark?
At my school the top mark was 85%, oh btw what school do u go to

nah it wasnt CSSA, da teacher used various sources. our ipt classes are doomed! da average was like 40% and only a handfull of ppl pased. but da guy who came 1st is an absolute genius at computing, he's been coming 1st for like the past 4 years, i was shocked he only got 71%.

Maths is my worst subject
Ill be lucky if I pass...
and to pass you have to get at least 60/120
You should see some geekOXrs in the mathematics forum
A truth about 2unit maths is that the average for question 9 and 10 in the HSC is 1/12
now that just says how bullshit the subject actually is.
I hate it to death! Yes...more than this gay subject too..

ipt gets scaled down 4% if your get a average mark if you get a ok mark you will not be scaled at all...the guy who got 71 and thinks he is gonna get 90% is full of it...

(a) compare and contrast flat file and relational databases

(b) normalise database - create primary key, show relationships

(c) Role of data accuracy

(d) more suitable view for data


so what part caused problems ???

you could write a definition of dithering ?
Define outsourcing - give advantage and disadvantage ?

i just did my ipt trial...........im gonan fail, no doubt about it i reckon. I was the last one in there and i freaked out cause i was the only one left. So i rushed through DSS and i highly doubt it will have been ok
