Hey, is anyone going to see Othello at the Opera House for English?
I know my teacher tried to book tickets today but they were sold out.

She was pretty upset about it...

If you are going; do you happen to know when your teacher booked? Oh and how much did it cost to see it?

Our grade is going - well unless they are the people who are going to the ski excursion.

We got told about it about a month ago and I think she probably pre-booked it a couple of months ago. For us it will cost us $25 and I think it's on July 19th. She said that was the only day she could get when there were discounts. Pretty happy because I'm the closest to the city and will be able to get off early. :D

Is that the Bell Shakespeare one?

Our year is going but its on a tuesday night and I think I have something else on.

Last year we went to see Macbeth at the Wharf theatre. It was really bad, they had some butch woman playing Macbeth and some chick playing chimes in the background the whole time.

Half the english advanced students at my school are going on the 25th June, including myself and we're not even doing Othello this year i dont think lol.
Our school were given free tickets and some students were selected by our teachers to go for free and for the other students that wanted to go and didnt get selected they had to pay $36.

Yeah, 22 students from my school are coming all the way from Broken Hill for that and a few other things. Booked a fair while ago I think. The year 12's are seeing King Lear as well.

I have a feeling our Adv English classes are going to see it but I'm not entirely sure.
My english teacher is anal retentive so if we were she would have booked the tickets months ago.
