help me anyone....ive had my trusty ipod for three years this may and i cannot revive it.......it will not turn on, recharge, be recognised by my computer


what is the diagnosis????

is it simply DEAD?????

if so, feel free to rate other ipod types under $200 here

Might be dead. Try holding down menu + middle button.

Otherwise its probably dead. I am sorry for your tragic loss.

Might i suggest ipod nano if ur after something good looking, easily fitting in pocket, and lotsa music/some videos.

yeah ive got the first generation ipod nano, just died outside of its warranty....damn it

tried the button thing, its pretty dead

are the new nanos any good?

what are their retail price?

I WOULD reccomend the SanDisk range of Sansa MP3/Media players, but as it turns out, their customer support is dismal and if your Sansa dies outside of the warranty, there are no repair facilities in Australia. NONE what so ever and they refuse to accept shipments to fix the device.

Right now I have a no-name brand media player and it does a fantastic job for $50.

The Ipod Nano G4 8gb for like $179 at Jb or harvey norman. Slim and very good looking.

yep, done everything....looks like im gonna have to buy a new one, at least they arent like 500 hundred bucks
