My guess:
He posted an email for his tutoring services.
With a google search, this lead to another tutoring page, which had his name.
A facebook search found his facebook page, which revealed further information about him.
A last name and general area reveals home phone number and address.
Someone went through his friends list, found the photos of him in their albums, and posted them.

And that's about where it is now.

idk finding ryan thompson was harder we had to search his uni stuff and found some obscure reference to something then it came up in an old chat thing then his ip something something etc
