Yeah, sort of.
First, they split all your units to 1 unit value (scaled mark that is out of 50). And add the best 10 units (that is called scaled mark aggregate), which is used to produce your UAI.
For example, if you got scaled mark of 90 in IPT, it is split to 45/50 and 45/50. Only one unit of that becomes part of your aggregate and the Mathematics Extension 1's mark (let's say 46/50) becomes the other part of your aggregate.
