yeah, for the humanities, it is. For Maths and Science, then no. To a certain extent, English really isn't about memory too.

well it really depends on what subjects you are doing..

for subjects like MX2, it is not about memorising except for memorising few formulas

lol

we worked out that me and my friend, with our histories and englishes would be memorising about SIXTEEN THOUSAND words for the hsc exams alone. and more than half of these words wont even go on paper when we figure out we dont need them.

Whatever happened to IQ tests?
