if all else fails, you could always try [size].
I think she figures her broad stature means she can use Frigid size text and still get her message across:p

yeah according to muslims
practically what nekkid said
it angel gabriel recited it to prophet mohammad pbuh and he would repeat it and it stored in his memory forever
then his companians would write down the verses etc..
and then you had the quran ..word of God.
obviously u ppl are going to think otherwise because ur not muslim
and question the likeliness of it
and hwo do we know mohammad didnt write it etc etc..but
but thats what we believe..

well, its a fact that muhammad didnt write it...he couldnt... and for skeptics, this is simply more ammunition to back up other conspiracy theories but each one of these theories disintegrates in the face of logic and reason...
lol, some of the theories ive heard are so absolutely hilarious and outlandish

btw soha, which mathab says the niqab isnt compulsory? as far as i know, none of the mazhabs make it compulsory?

also, did you once say u went to a shariah college? which one? i go to one too

what benefits do get one from wearing a hijab, apart from a fashion statement.
A lot of people say that it's a sign of respect for your body, hence wearing long, unflattering skirts.

Although a lot of muslims now wear decorated, stylish scarfs as hijabs, which just shows how silly religion has become- they used to wear plain scarfs as part of modesty, but now they're decorated.

It's exactly the same as the jews keeping kosher laws- cups to wash your hands with two handles, unclean food; all stems from pragmatic hygene laws, but now it's blown out of proportion with a rabbi coming to sanction kitchen areas etc etc.

Both hijabs and kosher(ness?) stem from a pragmatic need for laws to be created to genuinely protect the religious.

Just like the need for the concept of god and helfire was created- oppression of the masses. Both kosherness/hijabs and the belief in god are now redundent in a society where we can try to think for our educated selves, as well as look after our bodies (the initial reasons for hijabs and kosherness).

modesty
respect
obeying Allah therefore getting hassaneet
its islamic dress code...representing who you are..
protecting yourself

there is a difference between a muslim person who wears hejab
and proper hejab
some muslims wear tight jeans highheels..packed on makeup..half hejab so u can see their earrings
broches..bright glamarious colours
and frankly they draw alot of atttraction to themselves and look gorgeous

that is not proper hejab
