what do you guys actually plan todo after finishing japanese @ uni ?
If I go work in the field with my current course (see signature) I could expect to find a job with a Japanese MNO, probably electronics (Sony, Toshiba, Canon) or perhaps a (less well known) biotechnology firm. Then again, I would also be expected to undertake PhD level studies before or while working in the field.

Uniting?

Is this for continuers or beginners?? Btw, how hard is ext. japanese.
Unfortunately i can't find any easy way to learn kanji apart from just learning it! The vocab is also a killer.
Do you guys mean kana as in hiragana and katakana?? Becuase i know that there is a video... with a song...
This is the katakana song...
a, a, de hajimari mono wa nani?? sore wa sore wa airon(iron).... airon no a....
i, i, de hajimari mono wa nani?? sore wa sore wa iinku (ink)... inku no i...
u, u, de hajimari mono wa nani?? sore wa sore wa uinku (wink)... uinku no u...
e, e, de hajimari mono wa nani?? sore wa sore wa epuron (apron)... epuron no e....
o, o de hajimari mono wa nani?? sore wa sore wa orenji (orange)... orenji no o....
etc. etc. make up your own song if you like... you could do the same with hiragana... i don't know how it would work for kanji...
I would like to actively participate... our teacher is really help ful so i would like to pass that on... practice questions etc.
Have fun learning the japanese you guys,
Love April
