SAM or JUAI doesnt have entertainment VET course, so i cant get an accurate UAI :( will this be updated anytime soon to include entertainment...

oh and sugar_plum who is in your avatar pic, looks quite familiar...
If you scroll down the bottom in the subject list you will see "entertainment exam"

The VET courses are all down the bottom.

The list isn't in alphabetical order, but in alphabetical/popularity.

EDIT: this is JUAIseek btw.

Hey, just wanna say great program.

I did my hsc last year 2004.

I was mucking around with this, and noticed that when I put my HSC marks in I lost 0.75. But then when i put the best out of either the HSC exam mark, or the HSC Mark i got my UAI.

Maybe thats to do with the uncertainty, or maybe they do actually take into account your exam results. It was only two marks difference for two subjects. But yeah, might be interesting to note that.

Cheers

v. nice program.

One thing I was wondering though, is it true that you can get a UAI of 67 by getting 90 in two subjects and 0 in the remaining 6 units?
And then getting 61 in 10 units gets a lower UAI of 60?

no, that isn't true.

the 0 mark is estimated as stated in the first post.

it is so that marks below 25th percentile can be kinda accurate for a while. but the further you get away from 25th percentile the less accurate it will be.

0 aligned mark is probably equivalent to 0 scaled mark or something, but nobody knows for sure.

If you are in the top 20% of your school and your school is ranked in the middle, would it be safe to say you are in the top 20% of the state?

jm1234567890, how do I use these standard packages to confirm? And are they only available at school?

john i put in some marks and it showed 97.4 (2004). Then i put the combo box on 2003 and it goes to 97.85. Then i put it on 2002 and it goes to 97.8. So is there a small posibility that uai's may go up this year?

haha, as I have always said. Who knows?

Even if UAI's do "go up" then it will be for everyone doing your subjects. So people who would have beaten you will still beat you in the HSC.

click new, then create an account, then open it then it should come up with a user, then you have to "add" subjects onto it..~

It cant handle marks for cosmology....they're always red
yeah, there isn't enough data for that subject.

ie. less than 100 people in it

SAM wouldn't be able to handle it either.

I tried to use the JUAIseeker, but it doesnt seem right as the scaled mark for english adavanced and standard is the same, 3u maths is only scaled down and society and culture is scaled down like 20 marks? Am i missing something?
