Blackholes do what they do, sucking up everything in existance, because they have the entire mass of a dead star in an extremely small space, giving it is ridiculous gravity. These 'micro blackholes' won't have the same effect as one created from a collapsed star because they simply don't have the mass to generate enough gravity.

Also, black holes exist in a vacuum (space:eek:),so, in the crazy event that we do make a blackhole capable of destroying the world, making a vacuum around one isnt going to stop shit.

Logically though, wouldn't you expect that things would start off small and snowball? Mini black hole attracts others things, gains more mass, pulls more, gains more mass, pulls more, gains more mass, pulls more...

this thread is an exemplary resource for anyone wishing to argue the stupidity of the majority of the human race. however, there is a glimmer of sanity amongst the overwhelming pile of shit.

Like dropping a rock to the ground, which increases the earths mass! yeah!

Has Mr. Gunn taught me wrong?

Interesting fact i discovered:
The cost of this Large Hadron Collider was under halfof America's monthly spending in Iraq.
Cost of large hadron collider: ~6 billion
Cost of America in Iraq per month: ~12.8 billion

Podcast of Dr. Karl this morning on triple J, most of it explaining the LHC in beautifull simplicity. Very entertaining, will answer any questions.

Hang on, I thought Global warming was gonna kill us, or the terrorists lulz?
Isn't Man bear Pig still at large? And I swear we never really diffused the threat of the chupacabra, or how the Jews sank the titanic.
Then there was that massive solar flare and of course, the loch ness monster evolving to a state of an amphibian. So it could wage war on everyone.

Surely the LHC is powerful enough to fire people instead of atoms? Donald Trump has a new hobby. YOU'RE FIRED! .. OUT OF AN ATOM GUN! Deadly boots.
Only works on single charged particles im afraid :(.
so no .9c bricks to be fired at people :(
